Opposites Attract originated as a marimba etude to work on 4-mallet interval changes but has now been orchestrated out for a full front ensemble. A 4-mallet part is included for marimba as well as a part with the range for vibraphones and xylophones. A 2-mallet part is also included so younger members can participate as well. This etude focuses on individual interval control in each hand separately and then together while also providing an opportunity to work on phrasing and musicality. Opposites Attract makes for a perfect lot tune or warm-up etude for your pit!
